It's been a year since The Trial came out. How has that happened? Since then, some cool stuff has been happening here, but I can't really talk about any of it... yet. I've become a bit less active on social media for various reasons and I'm trying to put as much time as I can into writing new things (it's all busy on that front). But I just wanted to pop an update on here to say a) Hi, and b) new stuff is coming.
Book 3 is written and has a cool title and everything. It's likely to see daylight in May 2024, and we'll have a cover reveal quite soon. I can tell you is it's about a slightly cynical woman who moves to England's "kindest" village to try and be a better person. But all isn't what it seems there... It's super dark (of course), but with a gold heart and tiny little funny bone.
There are also some Trial-related things still to come, for those still curious about Elle and her world, and some other mysterious things afoot. Watch this space!
And if you're in the mood for a spooky story, I have a reprinted one in this gorgeous hardback anthology, right beside my old Absolute Writer buddy Samuel Marzioli. Small world!
